STOCKHOLM (Dunya News) – 3 nominees on Tuesday won the Nobel Prize in the field of medicine. Ireland’s Willian C. Campbell and Japan’s Satoshi Omura were awarded the prestigious Nobel Prize for their discovery of a medicine called Avermectin for the treatment of roundworm parasitic infections. On the other hand China’s Professor Youyou Tu was bestowed with the prize for the discovery of a new drug to fight against malaria.
