Summary Germany's anti-Islamic group wants a 'leader like Modi'
(Web Desk) – The neo-Nazi and anti-Islam movement in Germany called PEGIDA has expressed a desire to have more leaders like India’s premier Narendra Modi to ‘curb’ growth of Islam.
In an interview to an Indian publication Scroll.in, the anti-immigration group’s founder and leader Lutz Bachmann said:
"We need a leader like him in Germany here,” he told the publication and asked the reporter to ‘pass on’ the message to Modi that “tell him that we invite him here in Dresden.”
Bachmann’s assistant Tatjana Festerling went one stp ahead and said a leader like Modi was needed “not only in Germany, but the whole of Europe. We need courageous leaders who are positioning themselves against Islamisation.”
PEGIDA’s leader Bachmann had earlier resigned after a photo of him posing as notorious Adolf Hitler went viral online but was reinstated and still continues to serve as such.
PEGIDA sparked concerns in Germany and the European Union when thousands showed up to participate in their rallies against migration of Muslims to Germany. The group’s bubble burst when its hidden neo-Nazi agendas were exposed and their following has diminished ever since. That also sparked pro-Muslim rallies in Germany.

However, the global media including the Washington Post reported that the group is still capable of making headlines.
Modi is the leader of India’s largest conservative Bhartiya Janta Party and was elected as Prime Minister after landslide victory in last year’s elections.
Indian prime minister is notorious among Muslims of India because of Gujarat’s 2002 riots that left thousands of Muslims killed in the Indian state when Modi was its top official.

Modi’s notorious image has a global echoing as only last month, it was discovered that Modi ranks among top 10 criminals on search engine giant Google.
