SRINAGAR (Web Desk) – Indian police registered an FIR against Jammu and Kashmir separatist leader Asiya Andrabi for unfurling Pakistan flag on its national day in Srinagar.

According to details, the separatist leader has been booked under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act.

She is alleged to have not only hoisted the Pakistani flag but also sang its national anthem along with some of her supporters.

Asiya Andrabi is the chief of the Dukhtaran-e-Millat women s wing which is associated with the Hurriyat and is one of the most prominent separatist leaders.

Extremist Hindu groups have, in the past, victimized Kashmiri students for exhibiting support for Pakistan.

Furthermore, students who have supported Pakistan cricket team in the past have also been rusticated from their university while cases of treachery have also been filed against them.
