Maoists killed six locals including a village head in Rajnandgaon district of India's central Chhattisgarh state..The locals were abducted by the rebels earlier during the current week on suspicion of being police informers. The bodies were recovered with their throats slit in a forest area in Uchapur village of Rajnandgaon.It is pertinent to mention that Chhattisgarh state has been a hotbed of Maoist activities in the recent past.
