Summary SP Shahjhanpur has suspended Shukla and ordered further investigation against him.
LUCKNOW (Dunya News) – A constable Shailendra Shukla of Uttar Pradesh police on Wednesday forced a dancer to perform at gun point in an event organised in Shahjahanpur district s Nigohi town.
According to details, Shukla arrived at the event and threatened security guards by having gun in his hand.
According to witness Ram Govind, Shukla climbed up on the stage and showered money of about Rs. 40,000 to dancer and forced her to perform.
He further added that since the drunk constable threatened to shoot her, she was left with no option but to continue the dance.
Dancer continued to dance for over an hour and audience captured this incident on their cameras.
According to home department officer, the constable act has disrepute the image of Indian police force.
Shahjhanpur s superintendent of police Rakesh Chandra Shahu told that constable has been suspended and further investigation against him has also been ordered.
