Easter celebrations around the globe today

Christian Community of Pakistan, like rest of the world, is celebrating Easter with religious fervor and enthusiasm today.On the occasion, religious celebrations would be held in churches where special prayers would be offered for peace in the country and the world. Easter is an important annual religious feast in the Christian liturgical year. Major celebrations would be held at Church in Moscow and at the Vatican City in Rome.Pope Benedict XVI led the world's Catholics in celebrating an Easter Vigil mass in St. Peter's Basilica. In his message to the world pope said that Easter helps to promote peace, love and justice and said that love would eradicate hatred from the world.
