Israeli Navy chief Vice-Admiral Eliezer Marom arrived in India to boost strategic-military ties between the two countries.Indian Navy Chief Admiral Nirmal Verma received him. The analysts termed Maroms visit to India very important at a time when Richard Holbrooke and Robert Gates are on a visit to Pakistan and Afghanistan.They added that the expanding of strategic ties between Israel and India and the rising interference of US officials in the region might have grave consequences.
