US ready to help Pakistan on asking: Holbrooke

US Special Envoy for Pakistan and Afghanistan Richard Holbrooke has said that although the United States is not intervening in the internal issues of Pakistan, but if asked by all the political parties, it would be ready to do so.Talking to a group of Pakistani journalists at the US State Department in Washington, the Envoy said that the US has been advised by some of its friends not to interfere into Pakistans affairs, however, added that his country was ready to help Pakistan on asking. But we are not intervening, because all sides have said that the US does not need to get involved, he noted. The Envoy refused to comment on his talks with the Pakistani authorities.
