Yemeni forces killed 34 suspected Al-Qaeda members in a dawn strafe on Thursday in a remote mountainous region of Yemen's Shabwa province. The raid was carried out as dozens of members of Al-Qaeda were attending a meeting in Wadi Rafadh, the officials said. Some Saudis and Iranians were also among the dead in the airstrike, said the source. Over 30 insurgents were killed while 30 other arrested in an operation in Abyan province a week ago.
