At least 100 people were killed and 90 injured when a blast ripped through a packed nightclub in the centre of the Russian city of Perm. The blast which was caused by an accident involving fireworks tore through the Lame Horse nightclub in the centre of Perm, near the Ural Mountains. Local media quoted investigators as saying 100 people were killed and another 90 injured. At least 200 people were in the club at the time of the blast. Rescue teams have shifted the injured persons to the hospitals.
