British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon urge Afghan President Hamid Karzai to clean up corruption in Afghanistan to keep international support; say all parties are working hard to reach agreement on climate change conference in Copenhagen. After a meeting at No 10 Downing Street with United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, Brown said: I think it's important to remember we want a corruption-free government, we want an inclusive government, a government that will tackle the problems of bringing economic prosperity to the Afghan people, a government that will build up the Afghan troops, the military forces and of course the policing of Afghanistan, so over time, Afghanistan can take responsibility itself for law and order and social cohesion in its communities and that would allow British and other troops to come home.Ban urged the returning president to form a unity government with experienced ministers and government officials and reaching out to all ethnic groups and all the people all political leaders and religious leaders.
