At least 11 people were killed and over 30 others injured when a passenger train hit a truck at an unmanned railway crossing in Uttar Pradesh state in India. The accident took place when a Gorakhpur-Ayodhya passenger train hit the truck at Kalyanpur railway crossing in Gonda. According to reports, nine train passengers and the driver of the truck were among the victims. The injured have been admitted to a local hospital where the condition of some people were said to be serious.
