Summary
The talks between Iran and world powers on a uranium enrichment deal are making slower progress than expectations, the head of the UN's nuclear watchdog Mohamed ElBaradei has said. Iran nuclear talks with US and other powers stalled in Vienna after Iran said it did not want France to be part of the deal, but briefly resumed late in the evening. ElBaradei said many technical issues had to be analysed, but insisted they were moving forward. Iran is considering a proposal to send uranium abroad for further enrichment. We want to see if the Iranians can move past the general to the specific, a Western diplomat in Vienna said.
