Seven more Palestinians were killed in Israeli air strikes on Thursday as militants fired some 250 rockets over the border, killing three Israelis, officials on both sides said.
Hamas health ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said a strike in the northern town of Beit Lahiya had killed a 60-year-old man, and the emergency services announced that a child had died of wounds he sustained in a morning strike on Khan Yunis earlier Thursday.
The latest violence raised to 15 the total number of Gazans killed in 22 hours of Israeli air strikes, which also left at least 150 people injured, medics said.
