Summary
At least 50 Taliban insurgents have been killed and about two dozen wounded in separate incidents across Afghanistan on Wednesday. In a joint operation, Afghan forces together with US-led troops killed 30 militants and wounded another 20 in the southern province of Uruzgan. In a similar operation, an Afghan army commando unit together with US-led soldiers killed 11 Taliban militants in Ghazni province, 8 militants in Kandahar and Khost. Two soldiers were also killed in Zabul operation.
