Summary
British Prime Minister Gordon Brown says that three fourth of the terrorist attacks in Britain are plotted in Pakistan and Afghanistan. In an address in London Brown said that peace in Afghanistan would protect U.K. He refuted the objections on British policy on Afghanistan saying that safe Afghanistan was necessary for safe Britain. Mr Brown claimed that British Government was fulfilling the needs of its troops in Afghanistan, adding that the expenses of a solider had been doubled compared to 2006. British PM believed that Britains success in Afghanistan would be at the time when Afghan people would take the matters in own hands and the troops would return home. Opposition accuses Gordon Brown of putting British soldiers lives into danger by deputing them in Afghanistan.
