The director of the FBI has slammed the decision by Scotland Government to release the Lockerbie bomber on compassionate grounds. FBI Director Robert Mueller is said to have written a scathing letter to Kenny MacAskill for allowing Abdelbaset Ali Al Megrahi to return to Libya. The director said the decision made a mockery of justice and gives comfort to terrorists around the world. Abdul Basit Almegrahi, is the only man who sentenced in the American plane case. Muller has written a letter to Scot Land Justice Secretary said that the decision wasnt understandable. Almegrahi was declared the culprit of killing 270 people in 2001. Scotland has allowed returning him to his country on compassionate ground as he his suffering from cancer. Almegrahi was given a heroic reception on reaching his homeland Libya.
