Gulf Countries funding Al Qaeeda: Holbrooke

US Special Representative on Pakistan and Afghanistan Richard Holbrooke has said that Al Qaeeda is getting funding from Gulf Countries. He could not tour Swat due to a law and order situation there. Holbrooke said that Pakistan was very important country and his tour had been quite successful from many aspects. He said that Pakistan suffered electricity crisis, adding that he had talked to President Asif Ali Zardari on the issue. He said that US had achieved success in minimizing drug production in Afghanistan. He said that no time frame could be given for the elimination of terrorism. He said that Qaeeda got funding from Gulf Countries yet the governments were not involved in it.
