Baby girl was born on the day cyclone hit Indian Gujarat
GUJARAT (Web Desk) - In an unusual happening, a newborn girl has been named after the cyclone ‘Biparjoy’ in Indian Gujarat.
The bizarre incident took place in Kutch district of Gujarat where the affected people were temporarily residing in the relief camps.
At one of the relief camps, newborn girl was named ‘Biparjoy’ by her parents. The cyclone ‘Biparjoy’ kept unnerved the people in Gujarat where nine people lost their lives due to the catastrophe.
The cyclone later dissipated but if left many memories for the people residing in the relief camps.
According to reports, the baby was born on the day when cyclone hit the Indian Gujarat. It is not new in India to name the newborn after natural disasters or calamities.
Earlier, newborns were named after ‘Corona’ and ‘Lockdown’ in India when the whole world was hit by the pandemic.
