Man wins $150,000 a year for life
(News Desk) - A Massachusetts man entered a single lottery drawing with six identical tickets and won a prize of $25,000 per year for life six times.
For the Lucky for Life drawing on December 14 at Royal Liquors in Fall River, Raymond Roberts Sr. of Fall River said his "intuition" instructed him to purchase two tickets with the same numbers.
Roberts claimed that the winning numbers are a mix of birthdays and anniversaries that he has been using in more than 20 years of lottery gaming.
The winner received $1,950,000 after choosing to accept five of his wins as lump payments of $390,000. He made the decision to maintain one award as a $25,000 annual annuity for life, or at least 20 years.
Roberts stated that purchasing a new motorcycle will be his first purchase with his prize money.
