Dozens of young women wearing high-heeled shoes ran a 50 meter race in Moscow to win a glamour race and a number of vouchers for shopping for the best racers.Race rules included the competitors to run 50 meters wearing shoes that have heels of at least 9 centimeters. The organisers of the show said they were happy about the interest of the public and media to the run. They told that the aim of this race was to transform the metaphor of running out of time into reality. Hundreds came to watch the show which has become an annual tradition in the city.The winners got valuable prizes and presents: the second best sprinters were awarded with shopping certificates for 50,000 roubles and the third one for 25,000 roubles to renew their wardrobe in the Moscow boutiques.
