Coin removed from man's nose after 53 years
RUSSIA (Dunya News) – A coin that was stuck in a nose of Russian man 53 years ago has been successfully removed.
According to details, the 59-year-old man was aged six when he wedged the coin in his right nostril. However, he admitted that he was too scared of his mother to tell her.
The doctors carried out endoscopic surgery under general anaesthetic and removed the coin from the nose.
Specialist otorhinolaryngologist Elena Nepryakhina said: “We operated on Friday and he was discharged on Monday. He has regained full nasal breathing.”
