Tanks a lot! Adults and kids take mini tanks for spin in Moscow

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Ever wanted to drive a tank? Moscow’s Sokolniki park now gives visitors an opportunity to do exactly that with the opening of a mini-tank race track.
Miniature models of Soviet World War Two T-34 tanks with just enough room for an adult and child don’t have any firepower but do ignite imaginations, said Sergei Akimov who created the tankodrome.
Akimov began to develop the attraction three years ago, while making full-scale models of the military vehicles for the movie industry.
Two laps on the track in a tiny tank cost 500 roubles (around eight USD), and the attraction is available on weekends and holidays, according to Sokolniki park website.
