Karachi: Woman driver acquitted in cat murder case
The woman told the court that she was reversing her car when the mishap took place.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A local court on Monday has acquitted a woman, who was accused of crushing a cat to death in Karachi.
According to complaint filed by Faiq Ali Jagirani, woman identified as Tehmina crushed the cat under her car and when the plaintiff asked her to take the animal to the hospital, she ran away.
The woman told the court that she was reversing her car when the mishap took place.
Moreover, the magistrate court acquitted the woman due to lack of evidence and directed her to submit surety bond worth Rs30,000.
