Magician accidentally shot in head with crossbow after trick goes wrong

MAKHANDA (Dunya News) – Famed magician Li Lau, aka ‘One Crazy China’, was accidentally shot by fellow magician Brendon Peel in his head with a crossbow while performing in South Africa.
Both magicians were carrying out a stunt at the National Arts Festival (NAF), in Makhanda, when the incident took place.
The venue was immediately evacuated after which Lau was quickly taken to the hospital for medical assistant.
Responding to the accident, Lau wrote, “I was not seriously hurt and doing well. The escape is something that I designed and created and we would never allow ourselves to be placed in direct harm’s way.”
"We apologise for the scare and were being overly cautious to ensure that I was okay," he added.
