(Dunya News) – A social media-obsessed fugitive has surrendered to Connecticut police after security department’s Facebook post featuring his wanted poster gets 15,000 “likes.”
29-year-old Jose Simms was wanted on seven arrest warrants for failure to appear in the court.
“Here’s an interesting one,” a lieutenant with the department began the post.
"Simms negotiated with me earlier this week (Through Facebook) and has agreed to turn himself in to Torrington Police if we can get 15,000 ‘likes’ on this post,” the online post read.
