Guinness officials said he failed to follow the rules set to take 30 seconds break for the record.

(Web Desk) – A Dominican singer, Carlos Silver, who performed for 106 hours consecutively failed to etch his name in Guinness World Record as officials disqualified his attempt.

He tried to break the consecutive 105 hours singing in 2016 which he also failed. Sunil Waghmare achieved this record and got himself in the records.

Silver’s total, which involved more than 5,000 songs, surpassed Waghmare’s, but Guinness officials said he failed to follow the rules set in place for the record.

The rules allow singers to take breaks of up to 30 seconds between songs, but video evidence from Silver’s attempt shows him taking breaks of up to two minutes.
