Mick, the oldest rabbit in the world
Liz came in contact with the bunny rabbit in 2004 while she was a volunteer at a pet shelter
(Web Desk) - Liz Ranch, a woman living in Illinois, is the proud owner of the oldest pet rabbit in the world. After cats and dogs, rabbits are the third most adored pets that make you fall in love with their cuteness.
Liz Ranch was quite unaware of the fact that her pet rabbit named Mike, who now crossed 16 years of its life is the oldest of its breed in the world.
Liz came in contact with the bunny rabbit in 2004 while she was a volunteer at a pet shelter. A friend of hers left the little rabbit in the shelter and never came back.
Her keen interest in the rabbit led to her adopting the bunny and after five years in its new home, Mike celebrated its 16th birthday in February.
With the ageing rabbit Liz contacted Guinness World Records who on proper inspection declared the rabbit the oldest in the world.
