MADHYA PRADESH (Web Desk) – Opium-addicted parrots in the Madhya Pradesh region of India are creating a serious problem for the poppy farmers as they are destroying the crops during the cultivation season.
"These opium-addicted parrots are wreaking havoc," Nandkishore, a local poppy cultivator said.
Farmers have started using loudspeakers to scare the birds off.
