(Web Desk) – There is a unique area in Japan where the population is decreasing rapidly so now similar effigies of every single person after his death placed, where it is usually seen more.
Effigies are not only made in the memory of deceased but also those who have left the village in the area of South Japan. When a British tourist saw the village in the mountains, he was surprised to see this customs and captured numerous pictures.
However, more than 150 effigies can be seen in the village while only 40 persons live here. These statues are placed at bus stops, in streets and outside the houses.
