SAN DIEGO (Web Desk) - A wedding ring worth $30,000 that was accidentally thrown out at a San Diego family’s home was recovered.

The ‘City of San Diego’ shared the news through a Facebook post that a family had accidentally thrown the valuable ring out with the garbage while were cleaning their home.

Suddenly the family realized that the ring had been thrown out and they contacted city officials for help.

San Diego Environmental Services workers used GPS to locate the ring and the family and sanitation workers were luckily able to find the diamond ring in a matter of minutes.
