It’s a dermal piercing consisting of a flat plate that sits just under the skin with the jewelry visible above.

Brides and grooms are sharing pictures of of studs and rings implanted into their wedding finger. Some have simple diamonds pierced into the finger while others featured more intricate rings and bars protruding underneath the skin.
However; dermatologists warn that if the anchor is not place deep enough the piercing will start moving, but if it is placed too deep the skin will begin to grow over the piercing.
