This insanely hot chili pepper can kill you

Dunya News

Mike Smith has named the chili as 'Dragon Breath' which can cause serious allergies to a person.

LONDON (Daily Dunya) – A Briatin chef has claimed of growing the hottest chili pepper in the world which can kill a person.

Mike Smith has named the chili as ‘Dragon Breath’ which can cause serious allergies to a person called ‘anaphylactic situation’. The person may suffer from cramps, rash and vomiting which can lead to his death. Moreover, the oil from the pepper is also so intensely fiery that it can reportedly numb the skin.

The farmer is growing the chilies and vegetables from the past seven years. The new pepper has a Scoville scale rating of 2.4 million heat units --- which is in contrast with the US military who uses pepper spray registering at around 2m on the Scoville scale.

Smith says that the flaming hot pepper is not meant for consumption but rather could be used as a natural anesthetic in developing countries where people may not have access to chemical versions.

"It’s not been tried orally. I’ve tried it on the tip of my tongue and it just burned and burned. I spat it out in about 10 seconds,” Smith told The Daily Post. “The heat intensity just grows.”
