Shikarpur: Police foils a suicide attack over a mourning procession

Police has foiled a suicide attack over a mourning procession in Ibrahim Jatoi, area of Shikarpur, Dunya News reported.Four policemen including an SHO have been wounded in the attempt.A suspicious person tried to enter the Ashura procession in Ibrahim Jatoi along with a bag. Guards of former MNA Dr. Ibrahim Jatoi tried to stop that person and then shot him when he tried to flee. While picking the dead body, the jacket that suicide attacker was wearing went off with a blast, wounding 4 policemen.More than 1000 people were attending the Muharram procession.
