ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – In a bizzare judicial development, Supreme Court is revealed on Saturday to have exonerated a deathrow inmate two years after he died in prison.

Resident of Dhok Haider Ali Sihala, Mazhar Hussain had served 19 years in prison before he passed away in 2014 due to cardiac arrest.

Mazhar was accused of murdering claimant, Manzoor Hussain’s brother named Ismail in 1997 in Sihala Police Station area.

Reportedly, the jail authorities were liable to inform the court about the  convict s  death which they did not and the Supreme Court carried out hearings anyway.

It should be mentioned here that late Mazhar was exonerated by the court two days ago. The judge had rhetorically asked after the verdict earlier this week, that who was responsible for the 19 years of Mazhar’s life.
