Summary Local scholars and Provincial Minister for Food have endorsed 'Djinn' kidnapping.
CHILLAS (Dunya News) – A ‘Djinn’ has been blamed for the murder of a 4-year-old child in Chillas. The rumors have been fuelled by the endorsement of Provincial Minister of Food as well. Police has turned to court for the exhumation of the body, reported Dunya News.
4-year-old Ahmad had not returned to his home for 2 weeks after venturing out to take water from a hose nearby with his parents. After launching a search, the parents of the child consulted mystics who told the parents that their child is in the custody of ‘Djinns’.
The body of the child was discovered hanging from a tree soon afterwards. As per mystics, Djinns had become angry after the former tried to find the child. Local scholars and Provincial Minister for Food have endorsed the mystics’ views yet police has not budged from its stance that Ahmad has been murdered and his killer is yet to be discovered.
