World’s first AI-powered interactive toy introduced
(Web Desk) - In a world that’s rapidly changing and advancing with the boost in artificial intelligence technologies, various companies are introducing toys for children backed with AI.
While some may believe it’s perilous, however, a writer, Nadh Thota in his newsletter – AI & Digital Technology Trends explained that AI-powered toys can respond to children’s actions and words, creating a more engaging and immersive play experience.

In another advancement, Haivivi, a toy company devoted to developing experiential products for children officially launched a new AI-powered toy called BubblePal.
Powered by Artificial Intelligence Global Company (AIGC) technology, BubblePal has been tagged the first-ever interactive toy in the world.
The AI toy engages with children and holds natural conversations with them, allowing a sort of emotional companionship. Additionally, the device is multilingual making it easier for children across the world.
The immersive toy is a compact bubble-shaped design with easily communicative features. According to a statement by Haivivi, one just has to press the surface’s spherical silicone to engage in conversation.
BubblePal is equipped with a USB-C charging port, assuring a four-hour battery life.
“The adjustable silicone strap allows it to fit almost any plush toy, making the toy ‘speak’, the firm noted.
The AI-powered children’s device learns and adapts through bionic memory technology when they engage in conversations with children continuously.
Haivivi says the device truly achieves “the more you talk to it, the more it understands you” facet.
BubblePal is available to purchase online via the company’s official website, priced at $89.
The AIGC toy has been designed for children between the ages of three to 12. It’s striving to not only answer the minor user’s curious questions but also “bring to life” favorite toy characters via application settings.
The company says the BubblePal app offers many classic characters created by other users such as Elsa, Peppa Pig, Bonnie, Teddy, Mickey, Buzz Lightyear, and more. Each character possess highly authentic voices, backstories, and personalities.
In addition to characterization, the toy aims to encourage learning. It’s a host to personalized educational content dependent on the age of the child user and their different interests.
The firm’s official website says, “Bubblepal is your ultimate source of knowledge, ready to answer all your questions and become a “super encyclopedia” at your fingertips.”
Another technology completing the AI toy is the advanced large language model(LLM) which allows children to create distinctive interactive stories in collaboration with the toy.
“Unlike traditional story players that merely recite text, BubblePal’s interactive storytelling mode requires the child to collaborate with it,” the statement spotlighted.
It allows “the story’s plot and universe to be customized according to the child’s preferences.”
