Mobile phone inventor's revelations

(Web Desk) – Martin Cooper, 94, is considered as the inventor of the mobile phone who used the prototype device to make a call on April 2, 1973.

But which smartphone does mobile phone inventor prefer?

Martin Cooper loves using iPhone, in fact, he buys a new iPhone every year while also using Apple Watch daily. He doesn’t like using smartphone apps and uses his iPhones to make calls, send messages and control hearing aids.

It is to be recalled that Cooper made the world's first call with a prototype mobile phone called the Dynatek 8000X. The device cost was $100 million that was not introduced to the market for the next 10 years.

When the phone was introduced in 1983, it was called the world's first mobile phone weighing more than one kilogram.

It took 10 hours to charge and could only talk for 30 minutes before charging again.

It was priced at 4,000 dollars, which is equivalent to 11,500 dollars (more than 3.2 million Pakistani rupees) in the current era.

But now Martin Cooper feels that people are misusing mobile phones.

In an interview, he said that he sees people on the streets in such a state that their eyes are only on the screen, which increases the risk of accidents.

But he believes that every new generation is getting smarter and people will gradually learn to use mobile phones more effectively.

He said that mobile phones need to be used responsibly and should not be over-relied on.
