WhatsApp to end support for thousands of iPhone users
(Web Desk) - The popular encrypted messaging app will reportedly end support for iPhone users on iOS 10 and iOS 11, meaning those with devices running older software will no longer be able to message their friends over WhatsApp.
Luckily, there s plenty of time to prepare. According to WABetaInfo, the change is due to come in on October 24th, 2022, giving you about five months to update your system software or upgrade your smartphone.
There aren t many devices still running iOS 10 and iOS 11. These currently include the iPhone 5 and the iPhone 5C.
