Xiaomi launches world's most powerful Android phone: The Mi 11
(Web Desk) - Xiaomi has introduced its flagship phone for 2021 - the Xiaomi Mi 11. It is officially the first phone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset and comes with a 6.81” AMOLED with QHD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate.
The phone is available in three memory combinations - 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB, and 12/256 GB, but no microSD slot.
The main camera setup consists of a 108 MP wide-cam, the second shooter is a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle cam with 123-degree FoV, while the third snapper, sitting on the side, is a basic 5 MP macro lens. On the front, Xiaomi placed a 20 MP selfie cam, tucked behind a punch hole in the upper left corner.
On the front panel, there is a curved screen and an optical fingerprint scanner underneath that also supports heart-rate monitoring. The panel also has a 240 Hz touch sampling rate, advertised peak brightness of 1,500 nits, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 has a 4,600 mAh power cell that supports 55W wired fast-charging, 50W wireless, and 10W rates for reverse charging. Xiaomi has decided to skip the charger in the retail box but will give a 65W GaN adapter for free if users opt for it.
Other specs of the Xiaomi Mi 11 include Harman Kardon-tuned stereo speakers, improved Night Mode capabilities, dual 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6E support, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and all the finest navigation services.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 will be offered in six different colors - Black, White, Blue, Khaki Vegan Leather and Purple Leather.
Pricing begins at around $610 for the 8/128GB model and tops out at $720 for the highest memory configuration of 12/256GB.
