Facebook restricted more than 5000 items on govt's request
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Facebook’s Asia Pacific Team on Tuesday met Convener of National Parliamentary Taskforce on Sustainable Development Goals Riaz Fatyana.
During the meeting, representative of Facebook Sehar Tariq said that children’s rights need more attention as 6 to 7 sustainable development goals are related to children s rights.
Representative said that facebook removed more than 5000 items on the complaint of government of Pakistan.
Sehar Tariq said that 41 million people in Pakistan use Facebook. She added that Facebook is partnering with the government to promote digital literacy and up to 20,000 women entrepreneurs will be trained.
