The company recently rolled out six new best features that are currently limited to some users and have not been yet introduced officially.
Mute User
Usually when we are irritated by any user and his posts we unfollow him. The more best way for it now is to mute him which will hide his posts from the news feed without his knowledge.
Slow motion for stories
Instagram is testing the ‘Slow-mo’ feature for stories. Earlier type feature and then focus was introduced which adopted the special qualities of iPhone X camera.
Calendar view for Instagram archive stories
Currently, the Instagram stories in archive can only be seen in grid view. However; it is very difficult to find a story of a particular date. Now the solution is being presented in the form of calendar view.
Stories reaction
Like the reaction feature in Facebook, Instagram is also keen to introduce a similar one in its application in which the user will be able to express his feelings through emojis.
Tagging friends in posts
Like other social media users, soon the instagram users will also be able to tag their friends in the posts.
Video calling
The video calling feature is presently available in Snapchat, Skype and Facebook. But now Instagram is also planning to bring out this feature.
