PTA orders shutdown of Blackberry services from November 30

All mobile phone operators have been written to shutdown Blackberry services from November 30

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News, Web Desk) – Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has on Friday ordered all the mobile phone operators in a letter to shutdown the Blackberry services from November 30, reported Dunya News.

According to sources, Pakistan’s monitoring system cannot check the business enterprise services. Therefore, the decision to shutdown Blackberry services has been made due to security reasons. Letter has been written to all the mobile phone operators. Blackberry internet services will remain available for the Blackberry users.
