ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Software Houses Association (PASHA) on Wednesday expressed severe reservations over Anti-Cybercrime Bill 2015, Dunya News has learnt.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, PASHA’s Coordination Officer Wahaj Siraj said while expressing his concerns that this bill will be proven a nightmare for internet users, IT Industry, media and research organizations.

He said that the draft ignores the basic human rights and that this bill will be proven an oppressive law for country’s young internet users.

He demanded that the experts and members of civil society be consulted over the draft so that the abuse of the law can be prevented.
