NEW DELHI (Web Desk) - LG has launched its flagship smartphone, the G3 in India which will be available in three colours - metallic silver, silk white and shine gold.
The G3 was globally announced in late May.
In terms of specifications, the G3 is loaded with a 5.5-inch Quad-HD IPS display, with a resolution of 2,560x1,440 pixels, 3GB of RAM, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz, 32GB of memory, a microSD card slot, wireless charging and a 13-megapixel camera with OIS+ technology with a laser auto-focusing system. The 16GB version of the phone will have only 2GB RAM.
It has a 2.1-megapixel front facing camera and a 3,000mAh battery. The phone runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat on top which resides LG's Optimus UI. For the G3, LG has redesigned the Optimus UI which features flat round design elements, smart keyboard, LG's knock code feature, and a concierge service that adds some Google now like functionality.
LG is also bringing a special limited edition model of the G3, which will be signed Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan. LG will only bring 15,000 units of this model.
