MOSCOW (AFP) - Three astronauts landed safely back on Earth in Kazakhstan aboard a Soyuz capsule on Wednesday, after spending more than six months in space, NASA said.
Japanese astronaut Koichi Wakata, US counterpart Rick Mastracchio and Russian cosmonaut Mikhail Tyurin touched down at 0159 GMT in the Kazakh steppes after spending more than half a year aboard the International Space Station.
