Virgin Galactic unveils a plane that offers suborbital space rides. After five years of secret construction, the cloak is coming off a privately funded spacecraft designed to fly tourists into space. Spaceship 2 was introduced in California's Mojave Desert. The suborbital space rides are being marketed by Virgin Galactic- which is bankrolled by British billionaire Sir Richard Branson. Branson partnered with famed aviation designer Burt Rutan. The new spacecraft is expected to take people into space as early as 2011.
