Kevin Pietersen is out of the rest of the 2009 Ashes series. After visiting a specialist about his Achilles injury, the decision has been made that he will not be able to take any further part in the Ashes battle. The surgeon says that it will take some six weeks to Pietersen to recover following which he will not be able to play rest of the matches.
