(Web Desk) - Pakistan Women suffered a 41-run defeat against Scotland Women in a warm-up match of the Women's T20 World Cup after rain halted play in Derby.

Batting first, Scotland posted 187 for five in their allotted overs, thanks to a blistering innings from captain Kathryn Bryce, who smashed 94 runs off just 43 balls, including 11 fours and three sixes. Opener Darcey Carter also made a valuable contribution with 45 runs.

For Pakistan, Sadia Iqbal, Tasmiya Rubab and Ayesha Zafar claimed one wicket each.

In reply, Pakistan had reached 62 for five in nine overs when rain interrupted the match. As play could not resume, Scotland were declared winners by 41 runs under the Duckworth-Lewis method.
