The premier’s visit added further prominence to the grand finale of the country’s flagship T20 tournament, drawing attention both on and off the field.

Upon his arrival, the prime minister was received by Mohsin Naqvi, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board. The two were seen exchanging greetings before moving towards the field, where the pre-match formalities were underway.

Ahead of the start of play, PM Shehbaz met players from both competing sides, Peshawar Zalmi and Hyderabad Kingsmen, extending his best wishes for the final. The interaction offered players a moment of encouragement from the country’s top leadership, as the teams prepared for one of the biggest matches of the season.

The prime minister commended the players for their performances throughout the tournament, acknowledging the competitive spirit and high standards displayed during the league.

Several federal ministers accompanied the Prime Minister during the visit, including Muhammad Aurangzeb, Azam Nazeer Tarar, Attaullah Tarar, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Abdul Aleem Khan, Rana Mubashir Iqbal, and Special Assistant Talha Burki.
